Sachs Release Bearing
A release bearing is sometimes called a throw-out bearing. You can find it on your clutch's hub, moving on a hollow shaft by the transmission housing. When you engage the clutch, the release bearing slides away from the pressure plate, allowing its springs to push the clutch disc into the flywheel. When the clutch is fully engaged, the release bearing stops moving. When you disengage, everything moves the opposite way. The release bearing moves towards the pressure plate, causing it to “let go” of the clutch disc. This series of motions either facilitates or interrupts your car's power flow. A good warning sign that you will have to replace your release bearing soon is when you hear a rumbling noise when you engage the clutch. When you start hearing that noise, be sure to get the highest quality release bearing available….a Sachs release bearing. Sachs is a leader at taking cutting edge technology from Formula 1 race driving and adapting it to the needs of everyday drivers like you. Find out for yourself why millions of drivers worldwide accept nothing else but a Sachs when they have to replace their release bearings. Gearhead enthusiasts certainly deserve first-rate customer service when considering high-quality automotive parts. To help you get that, we've established an always-online sales support call bureau to aid you with your queries. If you can find a better price, give us a call - we will meet or beat any price advertised elsewhere.
