Sachs Clutch Disc
What is a clutch disc? It is made of metal and controls the power flow between your transmission and your engine, with a little assistance from your flywheel and your pressure plate. You'll find it right in between the two of them in your clutch. If you have more than one clutch disc, springs press them tightly against your flywheel to increase friction. This friction transmits the power from your engine to your transmission's input shaft. Usually, the ones that most manufacturers offer to the general public are lined with asbestos to create the necessary friction. However, if you want a clutch disc made of better materials than that cancer-causing hazardous stuff, there is a better alternative. Get a clutch disc from Sachs. Sachs doesn't use asbestos in their precision engineered clutch discs. They have taken the ceramic clutch discs used in Formula 1 racing and created them for everyday vehicles. Why should professional race car drivers be the only ones to enjoy the quick shifting, faster launches and increased durability that comes from a Sachs ceramic clutch disc? Get the same kind of performance that they enjoy when you replace your worn out clutch disc with a brand new one from Sachs. Motor hobbyists completely deserve world-class customer assistance when shopping for dependable parts for their car or truck. To support that need, we run a round-the-clock technical help hotline to answer your questions.
